Recycling has become increasingly important to all of us. For Vågen, this means delivering reliable machines to the receiving end – whether it’s shredders for plastic or food waste, screw conveyors for heat treatment, or screw presses for sludge de-watering. We recognize that this industry demands durable, wear‑resistant equipment, and we typically use Hardox or apply surface hardening through welding with Castolin or similar materials on rotors and other moving parts. Stainless steel AISI 316 is also widely used where the machines are exposed to various chemicals in recycling processes.

SR-Shredder: Vågen`s SR series single-shaft shredders, have a high capacity and can withstand heavy loads. A hydraulic drive unit presses the material against a shredder rotor equipped with carbide cutting blades. The outlet screen determines the particle size after shredding and can easily be replaced as needed.
The shredder is highly flexible and available in various sizes with capacities ranging from 200 to 3500 kg per hour.
The machine is supplied complete with a control system and CE documentation.
TSX-Shredder: Vågen TSX shredder is an industrial low-speed, high-torque shredder. When materials are fed into the hopper, it is ground by two shredder rotors and discharged. Although the particle size at the outlet is unpredictable, two-shaft shredder provides faster material reduction and discharge compared to other shredders.
The shredder can be customized to meet the customer`s specific need to ensure optimal operating conditions. It can be delivered with CE certification and equipped with Siemens PLC and control system. The system provides automatic detection and overload protection. The TSX shredder series, features high torque, robust construction, low noise levels, and low maintenance costs.
FSX-Shredder: The machine features two-stage crushing, with two sets of blades. Proven technical solutions are used to reduce maintenance costs and simplify access to spare parts.
The FSX Shredder is supplied with a base frame for easy installation. We can also supply the necessary start-up applications and control systems you require, all according to specifications, with frequency control for optimal operation and speed regulation.
Micro Shredder 1500: The VMK1500 is our compact micro shredder, ideal for applications such as salmon processing or other operations with lower capacity requirements. This machine can easily be customized to meet your specific needs, featuring changeable knives and spacing for optimal performance.
The optional feed inlet tray with lid can also be supplied with an end switch as an optional safety feature.
